近些年，第三方调解成为化解医疗纠纷“战争”的新方式，因其关乎医患关系的改善与社会和谐稳定，从而备受社会各界关注。以医调委 为代表的第三方调解突破了传统协商、行政调解和诉讼三种医疗纠纷解决方式的桎梏，在医、患之间架起一道和解的桥梁。本案例通过对北京医调委、医院、患者以及政府部门等多方调研，与相关人员进行深度访谈，收集大量一手资料，全面了解了医调委的发展现状，在此基础上展现第三方调解在解决医疗纠纷中发挥的重要作用，并探寻在治理体系与治理能力现代化的背景下第三方调解如何助力构建新时代的医患关系与和谐社会。

英文摘要：

In recent years, third-party mediation has gradually become a new channel for the resolution to medical disputes, its development has concerned by all social sectors, because it is not only related to the improvement of the doctor-patient relationship, but also involves social stability. The third-party mediation mechanism represented by the People's Mediation Committee for Medical Disputes has broken through the shackles of traditional medical negotiation, administrative mediation and litigation, and built a bridge between the medical and patient sides. in this case, through various surveys of People's Mediation Committee for Medical Disputes of Beijing, in-depth interviews with hospitals, patients and government officials collected a large amount of first-hand information, and comprehensively understood the current status of the People's Mediation Committee for Medical Disputes; on this basis, demonstrate the role of third-party mediation in resolving medical disputes, and explore how third-party mediation can help build a new era of doctor-patient relationship and a harmonious society in the context of a modernized governance system and governance capabilities.
